01 Khromosome · investor deck · October 2026

An EVM layer-1 for regulated records. Shown as it is today.

Standard Ethereum proof of stake, with compliance primitives and encrypted storage built for healthcare and finance. In public beta on chain 777001 since May 2026. Every capability in this deck carries its real status.

Live verifiable now   Beta on the public-beta chain   Built tested, not deployed   In development

For accredited investors only. Participation in any financing requires accredited-investor verification. Nothing in this deck is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or token. Testnet KHROME has no monetary value.

02 Problem

Institutions that must keep auditable records can't defend a public chain to their regulators.

Who runs it?

Clinics, insurers, tax and audit firms can't say who operates the validators of a general-purpose chain, or in which jurisdiction.

Compliance bolted on

Sanctions screening and disclosure logging happen outside the chain, after the fact, through vendors nobody else can verify.

So they stay siloed

They build private databases nobody else trusts. Patients' and taxpayers' records get collected again and again, with no shared audit trail.

Khromosome · problem
03 Solution

A public EVM chain with accountable operators and compliance at the protocol layer.

Accountable validator set

Named operators with jurisdiction tags and optional KYC references in an on-chain OperatorRegistry. Mainnet requires at least 3 independent operators with the founder below 50%.

Compliance primitives on chain

SanctionsScreen (checked by the bridge relayer before every relay), a hash-chained AuditLog, and consent-scoped record anchoring in KhromeChain.

Encrypted storage

KhromeDrive: files encrypted in the browser, ciphertext off chain, owner-signed manifests on chain. Protected data never sits on the ledger.

Rule-based monetary policy

"Zero-point": a supply setpoint enforced by the execution client rather than a multisig. Proven on a local devnet; not live.

04 Why now

US rulemaking is moving toward disclosure, and AI agents now touch regulated data.

Mar 17, 2026

SEC/CFTC joint interpretive release

Points toward a disclosure-based path for crypto assets. A chain that reports its own decentralization (operator concentration, client mix) is easier to adopt under that path.

Aug 2026 · proposed

Regulation Crypto Assets

Proposed SEC rule, File No. S7-2026-27; comments due Oct 20, 2026. It is a proposal, not final. Khromosome is preparing a public comment.

Now

AI agents + post-quantum

AI agents handling health and tax data need consent records and audit trails someone other than the AI vendor can verify. A post-quantum signature precompile (ML-DSA-87) is In development.

06 Architecture

Ethereum underneath. Records primitives on top.

Apps

Explorer, app, staking, pools, charts, faucet, docs; AI medical and tax agents (prototypes) acting under on-chain consent grants.

Contracts · 777001

KhromeChain (records + consent) · KhromeDrive · AuditLog · SanctionsScreen · OperatorRegistry · KhromeSubscription · Khromeswap · KhromeBridge · ValidatorRewards (deployed, unfunded).

Off-chain services

Drive API (presigned URLs, ciphertext only) · bridge relayer (sanctions check before relay) · Web3Signer remote signing with slashing protection.

Chain

Stock Reth v1.8 + Lighthouse, standard Ethereum PoS. 8 active validators on one founder host today; block fees to the treasury wallet.

Ethereum mainnet

BridgedKHROME (lock-and-mint). Owner is still the relayer's hot key; transfer to a Safe is pending. Target: 2-of-3 hardware-key Safes + 48 h timelock.

Zero-point Built · not live

777M is a supply setpoint, not a hard cap: a MonetaryController issues a small per-block floor and EIP-1559 burn pulls supply down. It runs end to end on a local devnet with a custom Reth. Turning it on requires every validator to run that client, so it is not live and is not in the unlock schedule.

The ≈1B testnet premine is discarded at mainnet. No refund, put or early-unlock side letters; MFN for the round; any market-maker terms published before TGE.

10 Go-to-market

Operators first, then design partners, then institutions.

1 · Now

Independent validator operators

Onboarding kit and application are live. Outside operators are both decentralization and the first distribution channel.

2 · Now

Design partners in healthcare and fintech

Test the beta with non-sensitive data and shape the mainnet product. No protected health information before the external audit.

3 · After audit

Private and permissioned deployments

Sold as deployment plus support to institutions that need their own validator set, with BD hired for regulated verticals.

4 · Ongoing

Regulatory visibility

Public comment on proposed Regulation Crypto Assets; a chain that publishes its own decentralization metrics.

Larger, better-funded options exist. Our angle is narrow on purpose.

AlternativeWhere it is strongerWhere Khromosome differs
Ethereum L2s (Base, Arbitrum, Optimism)Far more users, liquidity and tooling; lower fees; audited and battle-testedRecords, consent and sanctions primitives at the protocol layer; accountable operator set
Avalanche L1s / AvaCloudMature managed product for custom chains, enterprise sales teamRegulated-records stack included rather than assembled
Canton Network, HederaInstitutional members and governance, production deploymentsPlain EVM and Ethereum PoS; no new language or consortium
Private databases / permissioned ledgersWhat institutions already use; no crypto exposurePublic verifiability of the audit trail and consent records

Our weaknesses against all of them: solo founder, no external audit, no mainnet, no liquidity, a single validator host today.

12 Team

A solo founder today. That's the first thing the round fixes.

Founder

Joshua Dunn · Florida, US

Full-stack engineer and operator. Built and runs the chain, contracts, bridge, explorer, storage API and sites. Solo founder; no Khromosome legal entity yet (being formed with counsel).

First hires, in order
  • Protocol engineer (Rust; Reth / Lighthouse)
  • BD lead for regulated verticals
  • Compliance lead

Before mainnet: an independent Safe co-signer, advisors, and at least 3 outside validator operators.

13 Roadmap to mainnet & staged raise

Gated steps. The gates set the timing, not a calendar.

External audit → independent validators → hardware-key Safes + 48 h timelock → mainnet genesis → node-license sale.

Stage 1 · now

Seed

Private financing for verified accredited investors. Funds the external audit, counsel and entity, multi-provider validator infrastructure, and the first hires.

Stage 2 · after mainnet

Growth round

Raised against a live, audited mainnet with independent operators.

Stage 3 · later

Node-license, community, strategic

Node-license sale (Reg S / 506(c) only, after counsel sign-off), community sale, strategic partners. Nothing here is an offer to sell any security or token.

14 The ask · contact

Stage 1 private financing for accredited investors. Terms in the data room.

Use of funds

  • External audits (largest line; real quotes before sizing)
  • Securities counsel and entity formation
  • Multi-provider validator infrastructure
  • First hires: protocol engineer, BD, compliance

Besides capital: introductions to validator operators, audit firms, and a first records design partner.

For accredited investors only; participation requires accredited-investor verification under Rule 506(c). Terms are provided to verified accredited investors on counsel-prepared documents. Nothing here is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or token, and nothing here is a statement about token price or value.
